WITH THE GREATEST HONEYMOON EVER!
The next morning we missed our flight... we couldn't help it, the wedding was too fun, we stayed too late and for the first time I think ever, I did NOT hear the alarm clock. We got up anyway and rushed to the airport, but weren't in time to be able to check bags. So, they sent us home to return for a flight leaving around 10am, I suppose a 7am flight the day after the wedding wasn't my most brilliant idea ever. We stopped at McDonald's, went to the house to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything and headed back to the airport. On our way we ran out of gas. Yes, out of gas! Funny story really. So, it was Timber and Kimber (aka mom and dad) to the rescue. Dad came with the gas can and fixed us all up. He didn't admit it but he loved that even though we were married, we still needed him. We took pictures which I scrapbooked and love -- nothing wrong with an unexpected event that creates a wonderful memory! After our fill up, we made our flight and landed in Bozemon, Montana. I had never seen anything like it!! Beautiful. We stayed in Bozeman that evening, drove through Yellowstone the next day to Jackson Hole WY. In Jackson Hole we stayed two nights and white water rafted on the Snake River. Before leaving Jackson Hole we went to Ripley's Believe it or Not and the National Wildlife Museum! Left Jackson Hole and headed for Cody Wyoming where we saw their famous nightly Rodeo, went to the Buffalo Bill Museum and stayed the night before heading back to Bozeman for our final night. Before making it to Bozeman Tyler surprised me with a trailride and a chuck wagon dinner, concluded by a cowboy singing Hannah Montana -- too funny! I tell ya, first time ever, that I was not ready to head home!! That part of the country is definately God's country, never felt so at home while away from home!!
Some pics of our wonderful honeymoon!!
Above is out front of our hotel and below is Ripley's Believe it or Not.
Our honeymoon was a blast, memories neither of us will ever forget!!
