We're Expecting!!

Wow.  What a wild week!  Found out on Monday 2/8/2010 that baby Thomas is on his/her way.  Glad we took that ski trip, not only because I'm prego now but also because we're like 99.9 percent sure that's where baby Thomas was conceived.  I can't help but think that Timber (my nickname for Tyler's dad) would be proud!  He loves Colorado and Wyoming, I'm just sure that he is in the cloud of witnesses cheering us on right now.  And even more sure that he was totally overjoyed when our baby was conceived and heaven rejoiced.  I thought planning a pregnancy would take forever and be a stressful experience, but God was faithful, it was neither of those things.  His timing is perfect!  Our little "critter" as Tyler named it, is due in Oct.  After Timber died, we both felt it would just be so cool if God would grow our family about the same time that he took Ty home, although in deciding to start a family we certainly weren't going to try to make that happen.  Once again, God was faithful, my due date is Oct 17th, Ty went to heaven on Oct 20th.  Our God is a God of relationships, restoration and comfort and He HAS a reason for everything.  Nothing we go through as a believer is worthless, that's what has really hit home in my heart the last year  -  His plans are better, His timing is better and our lives are nothing without Him.  SO, while we are excited about the baby and can't wait to find out the gender and meet the critter, we are going to walk in peace and enjoy each step.  We meet with Donna Miller on Thursday 2/18/10, she is a midwife a few of my friends have used.  As of now, we are considering a home birth with Donna and feel total peace.  Can't wait to meet her and get all our questions answered!  Pray for us and the baby as we go through this exciting time.  We love you all and are so thankful for the people God has placed in our lives to journey through this pregnancy with us!!!
